I gave up on using the Mini with QS, Its erratic and needs to have the software fixed, but i doubt that will ever happen. If you get to the point that you need to run a midi controller, then i suggest you step up to Beyond and an APC40.

Thanks. DT40W X=5*10,Y=5*16(0.8mm thick) for 3mm beam, but people always grumble the mirrors to small. DT50W X=8.5*8.5,Y=7*17(1mm thick) for 5mm beam, all mirrors are bigger and heavy, that is working fine. We don't need COUNT only,we need UE ( user experience ) is good. To someone: We are...

Not what I said. What I'm saying is you can't come here and do all this because someone is technically "lying". My point is everyone is. Except you, good for you, point it out all you want but don't attack, ridicule and advertise your own shit, it doesn't justify all that, is what I'm saying.

i know rms0504 and i'm confident of his math and his mechanical engineering chops. as far as i'm concerned he's providing science and fact. not marketing bs. i've called out other vendors for their claims (including pangolin). we need fact checking. we need to keep vendors honest. all of them....

Because... of... MARKETING. God dammit man, is one time not enough for you? Get every company to be honest like that (which they won't, because of, well, marketing) then you can demand that from one company. You're literally like if one cellphone company all of a sudden started blaming and...

Again can't edit posts but replying to your now edited post "Beam spill not an issue for most" Why not just say the diameter of the beam it can move and the applicable angle range. Can also say "galvos can scan wider and larger beam with losses". That would be honest. His mirror set will do...

Because it's a bad analogy. I don't know why I have to explain this again, but some beam spill is not an issue for most, beam being weaker because of this on the edges of the projection is acceptable for most. A better analogy would be "megapixels" in phones. I don't see iphone bashing samsung...

And again, this is a public forum, for you know, discussing things. I still haven't located the rule that says I can only post praise. Reviews can be positive or negative, and everything I have said is based in fact. Anyways, to be supportive of competitors (which we generally are! Spoke with...

I swear some of y'all though... If you bought and paid for a 2000 sq foot house and the builder only built 1500, you would say "oh who really needs that space we paid for anyways" Buy a V8 truck and the dealer gives you a V6... Who needs those two cylinders anyways. Buy a TV that says 50" on...

Ill never be able to wrap my head around why I'm always the bad guy for wanting people to post honest specs for their products. Have I ever said a single thing about Cambridge? Nutfield? No, because they make a top notch product, and spec it fairly and honestly. That's all I ask of manufacturers. ...

I've pretty much had it with Pangolin bullying their competitors on an internet forum. What company anywhere else does that? Anyone who has the skill level to build a projector knows scanner spillage isn't the end of the world. We get it, your data is more accurate. We get it, their data is not....

Been awhile so I thought I'd make an update. Ok so... 2016 didn't go so well. Went back to smoking and diet Pepsi. As long as you are careful to get a decent quality cleave and keep the end clean (wipe the fiber down with IPA after stripping, but before cleaving, then never allow it to touch anything that might contaminate it) you should be able to get stable operation for a diode like this. Even on the 50w...

Diodes are from Techood (ebay). Few people here buy from him. The green and blue diodes had to be decanned as they have that fixed focus lens on them. I'm not aware of any other green diode besides the NUGM01 looking like that. So I don't think I was given a weaker diode. As for the blue, there...

Oh boy... what's going on here?... I even tried testing the G2 and 3 element glass lenses whether they were plastic, they didn't melt even at focused 3W beam passing through them. It's from Techood, number of people here buy from him. But even assuming the coating was bad (never heard that)...
