So now you are trolling the PL Admin ???????? @ Admin... If required I can supply the company E-Mail we received complete with headers in PM to you. I'm sure you're not interested in the additional E-Mail info or getting involved in any way.... But I thought I'd offer it. Jerry

It will become much harder to show my content at your place if you have 8 FB4s. Just saying.

Thanks, Kang! No, I haven't officially joined the dark side unless you count QS. Migrating to Beyond with 8+ FB4s is still a ~$9K cost that I just can't commit to yet. I'm just a hobbyist! :) -David

Only two possibilities here, you have me confused with someone else, or you made this all up. Show me the thread, or was this in a PM? I never posted such and you never brought any of this up. Guys, you are best to ban this man now. I couldn't stand for this kind of BS and went looking through...

I tend to add boards or subdivide existing ones when there's a non trivial amount of traffic/interest in the topics. As Buffo stated - pointers don't get that much traction here as there are other communities out there already setup for that. But if you want to run a couple threads about your...

Yes. Seriously. Put on your big boy pants and pretend to adult. It's not that hard, I promise. Look, PL started from a very different place than you might be used to. The user base here is a bit older and that means that our first lasers were typically an anemic HeNe that could only cause...

PART 1 So you've decided to use a Cylindrical Lens Pair with your handheld laser to tame the wild fast axis seen with a lot of the higher power multi-mode diodes, Great but the next thing is what lens pair should you get ? Well the two most popular makers of lens pairs are OPT Lasers...

Oh man, my buddy and I followed the 3 giant green beams to Sunset Lounge back in 2015, we asked around for someone to chat about the lasers with but nobody was available. I loved using the beams for navigation all week (I camp at 3:00& B so they always led me home). That installation was what got...

I'm talking about these MEMS based small video projectors made by Sony and Celluon. They are not galvo based or just using a laser and phosphor as a light source but scan lines of a video vertically with tiny mirrors I believe. http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sony-MP-CL1.htm...

Many thanks for sharing Chris :) It seems no red MM diode can actually beat P73. Despite its wings, divergence is still the best. Oclaro is 'clean', but slightly worse in divergence. BTW I tested G85 dual beam...not for galvo projection, but interesting in other projects like outdoor laser canon...

Yes, That's what beam expander are all about, The beam size coming out of the beam expander is 30mm x 30mm square and with the beam expander focused at 50 feet that beam is 6mm x 5mm ! Or i can focuses the beam so it's stays 32mm x 29mm with a small amount of divergence as the beam travels........

Thanx LG !! At $ 26 a pop....can afford to goose'em a little more....maybe 1.2A....Not sure where the knee is ??....But then....from a reliability stand point....maybe not...depends on how lucky ya feel....and the ramifications if the Red's take a dump mid show....which then depends on the nature...
