    Default SDL-820 Manual?

Hello, folks. I'm looking for the manual for a SDL-820 driver. I see people mentioning the manual being available around here, but my search skills have failed. If a kind soul would hook me up, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Excellent! Thanks so much. Do you have any idea of the differences between the LDI-820, 822, and 824? IIRC, the 822 supplies up to 15A?

    Thanks.

Looking at the 824 manual, the only difference from the 820 is that the 824 has more pins on the head connector with the addition of power for a fan and an interlock circuit; drive specs are identical for both.

Ah! interesting. Can you confirm my recollection of the 822 having a 15A supply vs the 10A of the 820?

    Thanks!

Hello Folks, I am using SDL 822 driver. These documents are of great help. I want to know, whether it is possible to change PID controller parameter for SDL 822 driver. I am using a TEC and a themistor (from Thorlabs), but the actual temperature is never reaching the set temperature, even when the laser is turned off. I checked the TEC is not broken, which leads me to think, whether I need to change the PID parameter of the SDL 822 driver? In the manual I didn't find any section mentioning that. If any one has experience with that, please let me know regarding this. Thanks in advance!

Before you start tweaking the PID settings, check that you're not trying to exceed the delta T rating of the TEC and that the TEC drive current from the SDL 822 is sufficient for the TEC you're using.
