The best I can do is South Cambs, not really much of an impact on a journey from Dorset!

Hi, I'd very much like to come along to this, but have a 5yo - and wondered if this is something which I should bring him to, or not - and wondered which day would be best to come and stay overnight for ?

    Regards
    Rich

to be honest its not great for a 5yo.

lots of live electrics on display, mixed with water.

plus lots of laser beams flying around

    I have a 4 yo and I wouldn't bring her to young

I'll add an "agree" to what Andy said. We discourage young children at SELEM as well simply because it can be a dangerous environment. Discussions can get a little "colorful" for young ears as well but, they stand a better chance of recovering from a dirty joke than they do an electric shock.

I will be on my way down tomorrow to see you all. Bringing a pile of high voltage goodness to the equation. (X-ray transformers, power supply unit etc.) and one or two laser things I have laying about.

Regretfully I can't bring down the greenlight as it's just too big to transport.

I'll be heading down on Sat PM; village fayre is tomorrow, so can't miss that, but will hopefully be on the way late afternoon. Going to bring Dan's favourite ion some HeCd goodness and my newest DPSS aquisition (for Dan to drool over). I'll also stick a couple of MG ion cooling units (fans) in the car in case anyone's interested, and I'll bring the CTI 6900 system along with a view to selling it.
