What the heck? Ebay bid cancellation notice received with no explanation

Found a rather nice DPSS laser on ebay with no bids, starting at $99. Put in a bid 2 days ago, then today I received a bid cancellation notice with no explanation at all. What the F***? I hate sellers who piss around doing this sort of thing, either put it up with a high starting price or put a reserve on it, don't start it at a low price and then cancel the auction if you don't like the way it's going!!!!!!!

The bid could have been cancelled by eBay themselves for some reason.
