Drift issue with a set of DT40s. Y axis drifts with temperature or run time
I'm have a set of DT40s with rather low hours with an issue I'm hoping to fix. The Y axis seemingly increases in size a couple of degrees upwards. The lower set point of the Y axis seems to stay put. This is repeatable and seems to correlate with run time after startup (I assume related to temperature).
I ended up replacing the scanners right away, but they sit on the shelf and are otherwise in near new condition, so I'd like to fix them up as a spare set at least if possible.
I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on potential adjustments or bad components which could cause this ?
Thanks.
