There is/was NEVER a presumption of free speech on a private web site like this or any other forum. The owner of any place, on the web or in the real physical world, can restrict speech in any way they desire. There's only a restriction on the government preventing it, with exceptions. Nobody has a "right" to spew dishonest hatred anywhere but on public property, and they better be ready to deal with the reaction to that crap.
