    Default Laserscope Water Level Switch

I tried to fire up my old unmodified 800 series KTP/532 yesterday, but it shut down before lasing because of low water level. One of the plastic fittings on the manifold apparently broke. No problem ... I have a bag of them now. But after replacing the fitting and refilling the tank, the low water level fault is still there.

Took out the water level switch, and found two problems. First is that the float has a leak and doesn't float. Second is that only one set of wires coming out of the switch shows a short when I move the float up the shaft. I used a wire tie to hold the float in the top position, but the fault remains.

Can I simply short both sets of wires going to the switch to disable that interlock? Does anyone know where I can find a replacement water level switch?

Update: Shorted the other set of wires and I'm on. Still need a reference to a replacement switch.
