Starting thead subscriptions after having "Unsubscribed" several years ago

...cannot get Instant email notification of thread Subscriptions going again. All my Settings look like it should work, all thread titles are marked "Instant" but I'm not receiving any email subscription updates. I need a magic incantation. Does anyone know what it is?

What is your email domain? I know there have been known issues with some, and I think some are even still unresolved.

swbell.net is the email domain. I used to get them from the time I first joined the forum. A short while after, because I hadn't refined my subscriptions I was getting so many email notices from the forum that I unsubscribed. That probably has something to do with it. I'll keep searching.
