Probably making their own galvos, they don't need high speed, and if your going that slow, a bridge style galvo driver running off a single sided PSU is easy to fit in 50mm cubed.
The probably 50K$ marketing video is slick. However having used engravers for years, I don't like the idea they present that engraving is point and shoot, with no focusing shown. Where is the trial and error for scan speeds? They do admit the videos are sped up on the website.

CDRH , who knows, but will probably require an enclosure for this beast, which they do sell. Needs a emission warning sticker, Dang Sticker, Emission Indicator, Key Switch, etc just for starters. I can't see the powers that be allowing Bluetooth for laser emission control at Class IIIB. What bugs me is they are NOT shipping a PSU, which means they are pretty confident in their input circuitry. Problem is the rules are not well defined for this sort of thing, so they might get away with it in the US, provided they hire the right consulting firm. They will need a US office, or some one to act as one, most likely.
!
Update, they are partnered with a Taiwanese commercial laser marker firm, and a US based product marketing firm..

I should have rented the space under my name for advertising.
