    Default I'm Not "X-Laser" Anymore

    Hi all -

I wanted to post quickly just to update everyone that my X-Laser account has been changed to DanG since I am no longer with the company and didn't want to cause any confusion moving forward. All of my previous posts have probably been updated to DanG as well.

Continuing to post as X-Laser didn't make sense given that Adam now owns the company completely, and I'm entirely out of the business of display. I still love lasers, and play with them occasionally, but for fun rather than work. Actually, its kinda funny... I am actually so out of the loop that I found out about X-laser's new release of Project Mercury on Facebook like everyone else! lol

So from now on, I'm just Dan, a guy who loves lasers. =)

No one has asked the question, so I will:

Any chance of seeing you at SELEM next year, Dan?

Oh - would that I could. MAAAYBE. I'm kind of in the 'putting in my time' phase of being in a new industry so getting away is hard especially with the responsibility I have now. I was very fortunate to have such a great team at XL and could get away for a few days, or even longer occasionally. My team right now is me, and I'm running marketing for a $30M company with five divisions. I hope that will change, but for now, I lase only in my dreams!

Ouch! Sounds like you don't have any free time at all... Recently I've been able to experience that myself, and I have to say it sucks ass!

Still, I understand where you're coming from Dan. Hope the new endeavor pans out for you! But if you can break away, know that you're always welcome...

    Adam
