Today I got my "600mW" red diodes http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...ht_2441wt_1030
Nothing positive to say:

-two of three diodes arrived damaged (only put out ~10mW)
-the highest power is 314mW at 700mA
-the diodes were already soldered before (I think they were harvested from DVD burner)

There is no way to get them to put out 600mW. The max. output power is 314mW. The diode worked for 4hrs 27min and then the output dropped down to ~10mW.

I did not expect much at this price but......
