Very cool! Great 'real world' worse case scenario regarding wireless DMX connectivity on a cluttered 2.4GHz band, as well. Thanks for sharing. Here's my version, just for some supplemental ambient color fun in my laser living room. These remote controlled, wire free RGB LED light pucks are...

Not all wav players can play more than stereo, but some can into multitrack studio sound devices and surround sound devices. The success of my app used to make wav files for direct display depends on that entirely! .

No. That's not how it works at all. There really isn't anything real-time about LB. It just reads and writes files. No live streams in or out. But it can do all kinds of things with files. It can show vector art files as timed animation on the screen. It bridges the gaps between ild, dxf, txt, wav...

Me neither, except for a bit of LSX. It didn't even exist where I'm coming from. Bummer. 🤔 So, I'd need to convert 5 ILDA signals into 5 wav files, in real time. Then, run those 5 wav files through Laserboy to convert them from wav to HDMI... w/o delays in order to stay in sync with the touch...

Thanks! I'm not at all well versed in other laser display software. I don't know of any real-time streaming ilda to video solutions. But, like I said before, you can use my software to make video from anything you can import. It can also display wav files on the screen and show them in the same...

i don't know of any standalone ilda vector->color hdmi solutions. you can do that with the radiator and the ilda import cable. unfortunately, that doesn't really help you.

It's just two LEDs, but they show the spiral sweep control voltage and the ramp reset signal from a small part of the show called Laserium79. Keep in mind that these are signals that were produced by choreographers using the previously discussed encoder decks. Video is here: ...

It's a lot of fun. Just like lasers, it can get expensive the further down the rabbit hole you go! I will admit, there is certainly a small amount of one-upsmanship at play but most of it is "imagineering Disney". I get an idea and then see if I can make that idea a real thing. There were...

I think I cracked the code on these Donner transceivers. I found out that these are true transceivers. Depending on how they are oriented they can be a transmitter or a receiver and they switch automatically. If they detect DMX data on the input, they will switch to xmitter mode. That being...

The singing pumpkins are a huge hit every year. Yes they are Atmos Effects and a cheap $60 video projector from eBay. The turn out was good considering COVID was more scary than anything I could setup in my yard. We got just under 100 kids. Usually we get between 100-200.
