Is this in addition to your YAG project to focus 808 nm into the crystal? Beam expanders are easy, you don't necessarily need an AR coated lens for 808 nm as an output expander, it won't be as efficient, but not that much loss, not needed for a pointer output unless your diode is sensitive to...

I understand the want for a nice and clean spiral but I actually like the retrace lines!

I'm primarily looking for cylindrical lenses to build a telescope to expand the beams from individual laser diodes. For that, I need short concave lens and longer convex lens, for eg. -4mm and +40mm. Additionally, I need (preferably M9) collimators for the diodes, but I found a few options here.

We, the members at the time, all saw it and you bragged about it in the discourse group. Not only are you incorrigible, you are a liar. How about the threats to show up at another forum members home with a shot gun? That didn't happen either?

SUCCESS!!! You are not going to believe what the issue was. Lasermaster1977 your advice was priceless. I took each part of the circuit and checked for appropriate output signals following your advice. I saw that the JFETs were triggering properly, I was seeing trigger signals through...

This seller on ebay might have them, but not listed. He had some fiber to convex 808 nm lenses with AR coating in the past and not expensive, as they go. You could remove the fiber, or leave it on to interface to a FAP. What kind of laser is your 808 nm coming out of? Simple diode, or? What are you...

Or he could have simply said (as I did) that its more complicated than creating an electrical discharge in argon to make an argon ion laser. There is a middle ground between saying "no it wont work" and giving a full lesson on the mechanics of gas lasers, just saying. Its difficult to accept...

Well you can contribute all you want but that doesn't give you the right to talk down to people. I have never called you a name but you have insulted me plenty of times. You're a grown man. Act like an adult. I have nothing against you despite your rancid attitude. Yes 10+ years between your...

Hello M. Polak, Also please allow me bump this thread one again and to offer you great thanks for this post. Unbelievably easy to implement this in software for my ESP32 based test box and ILDA/WAV player ILDAC-WAV (see: https://ildac.com) . I can't quite wrap my head around why the simple math...

Hi, I'm basically trying to collimate and shape a 808nm beam to pump Nd:YAG, but all quotes for optics I got were outrageous.
