Absolutely! That trick is what thrilled my eyes when I first saw a Laserium show. After years of dealing with and learning from the wild and sometimes awesomely surprising world of analog signal processing for laser scanning, it became obvious that emulating this process digitally was far...

One other trick is to invert one of the quadrature signals so the circle it's drawing is in the opposite direction... If the quadrature signals are close to the same frequency with one signal inverted the result is a rotating loop, non-inverted is a pulsating circle

... some of this fun can be "regained", when diving into laser material processing -- here are enough "alternatives" to the common used galvo-setups or elctronics  Viktor

i also found more than four colors gets messy. You can do more but I think the intent gets lost. I think mike would disagree but thatís my opinion. I dunno; never tried more than 4, and that was with Styro's yellow at SELEM. Good info, though. All of our stuff is RGB, mainly due to...

you flatter me. next time you come over, we can make some ArKr lumia and manually toggle the pcaom for exactly the right color combination. i'd love some opsl or dpss yellow, but the bank would prefer that i pay my mortgage.

Thatís really amazing. Iím hoping the radiator once it gets here can reproduce some of this. i have the old black book with the circuits but those burr browns are impossible to get anymore...and pointless. I love the xlr chips and 4049. Used 4017/18. For sequencing too! i miss the days...

Decided to sell my setup. Have had it for about 4 years when I used to be a reseller for CNI, LambdaPro & Able laser. Very low usage, about 50 hours total - only indoor use. - Able Laser AB-I Animation System - 30Kpps Graphics, Animations, Text, etc. (might even be 40kpps?) - Internal...

Wow! Thank you everyone for the detailed replies! I learned so much! I'm probably going to try and sell my existing 532nm system for now and then evaluate our needs going forward. Apparently, LaserCube is coming out with a green-only version and that might fit the bill in terms of perceived...

I have to admit, I felt a little guilty peeling off the cellophane. Once I started putting it together, I was having too much fun to feel any pangs of guilt. Besides, once it's on my wall, I can look at it and enjoy it as well as recall how much fun it was putting together!

I've got a Spiral Rings puzzle, still shrink wrapped sitting here.... I've been pondering whether to open it or not. After reading the exchange in the first couple messages on this thread from seven years ago, I think I've made the decision to open it up and put it together. ;)

Thread rez... I finally cracked one of mine open. This has been a very challenging puzzle and I haven't even gotten to the black pieces yet. I am having a blast with it though. Once completed, it's going on my wall next to my other Laserium pics.
