If you haven't seen Final Space, you should check it out. It's brilliant. Lots of great voice acting, great animation and a great story, surprisingly emotional. Conan Obrien does the voice of Clarence and it's absolutely awesome.

The PDM buffered output was added 12-1-82. The clipper card was added 12-7-82 as part of the Beatles Mods. And the clipper card has a PDM input. PDM was used for spiral blanking.

PDM is a square wave summed to one axis of the fixed cycloid signal. It was 1st used in Summer Madness in Laserium II. There was a 2QMM to control the gain and the frequency and duty cycle of the square wave depended on the spiral generator set up. The "D" might have been for deflection.

I found a new pump diode same type that was in very good price and i got it now. With 1 only fully working diode laser will work ? Because this laser in other versions has only 1 pump diode and half power. Originally pumps diodes are FAP-81-25c-800-B but i see the FAP-81-30c-800-B has about the...

... the laserdiodes could be wrecked, but draw the same current and only emit as "LED", not lasering. You can see start of lasering by slow adjusting the current from below threshold level up -- when crossing the threshold-level, the emitted intensity increases dramatically!! Viktor

djeric68, thanks for the encouragement! Regarding the FXCY, or Fixed Cycloid Card, it occurs to me to wonder about the role of the pulse-density modulation signal. I notice the following pins on the card edge: 10: PDM enable H: PDM amplitude input S: PDM square wave input T: PDM buffered...

The fiber end in the photos has about 5-8cm distance from a piece of unpolished black granite(not reflective) and the mobile phone camera is far away about 5-8 meters away from behind. I have a power meter Primes PocketMonitor PMT 70iCu and i will check with that power meter. I think the power...

One of the best visualizations of the Fourier Series and transformations I've seen, thanks Steve. Never got into them, though, they made my brain hurt. But like the few others that responded to this post, I did barely learn the 1st and 2nd order Laplace transforms for LRC circuit designing or...

thanks that is the exact same model autocorrelator I have except mine is not fiber coupled. Do you know of any solid state ps lasers 2ps in the 575-590nm range that don’t involve an opo and million dollar compressor? Looking to replace a coherent dual dye jet with a solid state source.

Much more people present there as I take it.. with a lower cost of entry in terms of hardware as well (those are my guesses being some of the causes) No idea about the situation there though and looking at it would prefer to stay away too!

A fellow who really knows lasers once said "To find a laser line look for a dark hole in the emission spectrum and start there." He was right. There are exceptions to that rule for some media, but Nd is not one of them. F MANIFOLD Nd lines have other places to put their energy if not...
