There are, but as BLDC motors you have to build a driver. I sent a couple of driver chips. (I picked them up years ago before they became 750 unit min order qtys, and I have fewer than I have motors. They require 6 external transistors - 2 for each coil and they're surface mount - so bread boarding...

If that's looking a little different than you remember, you might have the panel upside down... the EAO switches are a little unusual. Each bank has a N.O. & a N.C. set of contacts.

The CYGN-B is almost complete. It's a trip to have my fingers on these marvelous taps after forty years of reviewing distant memories. Metaphors such as Rosetta Stones and Holy Grails apply to this project, at least on a personal emotional level. Gently easing the scratchiness out of the dials......

Hello, on the Radiator, in the three LFO sections, there is a line (TAP) right under the enable Button for each LFO. If You hold the SHIFT Button and tap in a Music beat on this button the LFO will pick it up. My piano metronome ranges from 40 to 240 Ticks per minute, and the frequency...

Curiosity is an excellent thing ;) I've done a few arts festivals using touchOSC on an ipad talking to a linux app I developed. I never had any data transmission issues. You may be right about having trouble with your old ipad, or maybe something was flakey with the wifi. Remember, that...

It is just out of curiosity, I was just wondering what's under the hood... The primary reason i started thinking was really the screen thing! So I was thinking of an easy fix for this. Displaying the small screen onto a bigger one just seemed the way to go... TBH, I have not too good...

Hey Ron, I read this as "AM of CM1" originally and it's a cool idea. In rehearsing in my head a post to The Radiator thread - somehow I turned that into Audio Mod of CM1 - wow - that's the hard thing about hardware - you build this totally cool thing that does exactly what you wanted, and then...

I'm not sure what you intend to accomplish by scraping the file system, but... <shrug> Please be careful, we certainly can't offer support if you break something by making changes to the internal Radiator configuration. There are better ways that we're talking through. Since the Radiator...

The one thing that mostly annoys me about the radiator is the tiny tiny screen. Mostly because i am short sighted, and in my age, my eyes struggle a lot focusing between the laser image several meters away and the screen on my lap. When i read that linux on a quad core computer runs the...

I also noted that the Mod P1, Mod P2 and Mod P3 knobs (as well as their "softknob" in the menu) have an incredibly fine resolution. You have to turn the wheels ten Steps to get a 1% change in whatever they control. To get from 0% to 100% you need 1000 steps, that is (with 20 Steps per Rev) 50...

Understand about FB. Yes we go way back. You are a pioneer in laser show software and hardware. We used your Apple IIe graphics systems to great effect on big corporate shows and concert world tours. At that time, Pangolin's Laser Show Designer didn't even support blanking!
