There's a few things I don't like about him but whenever I brought it up I always got a lot of flak from his fans. But I have had others agree with me. I just don't see him as most do. Doesn't mean I hate him but I've seen his dark side and it ain't pretty.

Hello and thanks for the ad! I'm michel and just started with some oldskool laser. Have a Coherent Innova 70 but when firing up only gives purple light. Seller told me its green and needs adjustment. Can anybody send me in the correct direction to make it green again? Thanks!

I just stumbled upon this PL thread. wow, I mean WOW. Styropyro is extremely good at making extraordinary videos that are extremely well articulated, and that keeps one engaged if not addicted when considering his topic of choice (and one that is many of our interests). Very impressed also by...

An unpopulated 352 pc board and rare parts is a good thing to have, though I think undertaking to rebuild the whole 352 infrastructure might not be the best use of my time, at least in the near future. We've seen in the past year that, with sufficient motivation and resources, the abstract...

I'm sorry, I forgot about the size comparison until it was too late. Everything works now though. I can look at the docs and the examples and see if I can get some of my own stuff happening. Now that I can compile LaserBoy, is there a way to replace the rainbow ui text with monochrome? I'm all...

That sounds very much like a Win 32 heap overrun. It shouldn't do that in Win 64. DL the dev version again. https://laserboy.org/code/LB_04_02_2021.zip I just built the exe in Win10 64-bit. It's now in that zip.

Now, if you copy the txt files inside the txt folder in LB_04_02_2021.zip into the txt directory inside of your LaserBoy installation folder, you can open them in LaserBoy. You can also open them in any text editor and look at the script that creates each vector set you see loaded into LaserBoy....

... the biggest scanning mirror I've seen, was 500x500mm square with a 2-axis tilting/scanning setup - 'was meant for a 6kW CO2-laser and a beam expanded to 200mm  Viktor

That says you don't have the C++ compiler installed. When I installed Msys2 in Win10 I got 3 icons. msys2 mingw64 mingw32 Just out of habit I use the msys2 shell for installing and updating everything.

Yeah, that checked-bag fee sort of became an industry standard a few years ago, and it still pisses me off. The airlines are always complaining about how much easier it would be if people didn't bring so much carry-on luggage. Well, I might consider checking a bag if you: A) wouldn't throw it...

Copy the folder src_04_02_2021 into the LaserBoy folder you got when you unzipped the current. Then open the Msys2 shell and from it, cd to the src folder you copied. Then issue the command time make -f Makefile.w64 Let me know what happens. Oh yeah... since Msys2 is like a Linux...
