David (or James) Is there a way to adjust the projection zone geometry in the latest version of LaserOS? I bought one of the LaserDock DACs when they first came out and used it on actual gigs a couple of times, but then when they revamped the software, suddenly the zone geometry adjustment...

Steve, Depending what you are doing, you might find the newly released IDN Laser Tester utility that has been posted over on http://www.ilda-digital.com useful too. James

I first saw this at the UKLEM earlier this year, then again at the PLASA exhibition. Like others have said, itís reasonably well built, and the beams convergence is quite good for such a low-cost and compact little projector. There are two different power levels available; 1W and 2W. The 2W...

The gig are this weekend. But I still would love if you could have a go. It would be used at a later show then. Feel free to do whatever you like and choose. Anything goes in the rock & roll world. Sorry for the late response. Been busy at work as usual. Espen

I took one of our Radiator prototypes to the 2019 ILDA conference and had some really fun laserjam sessions with Tim Walsh on his Lasergraph DSP (such a cool system). Footage courtesy of Chris Stuart. (I owe you a latte)

Thanks for the review. I saw one in action at the UKLEM as well and it's been on the radar for awhile. The fact you can run shows from your phone on a battery powered device to demo for people who don't know what you're talking about when you get to talking about lasers, is pretty impressive.

Thanks a million for the detailed suggestions. It's been a while since I've debugged anything electronic but your ideas brought me right back to those old tricks. Funnily enough, when I turned the laser on this time there was zero vertical jitter. That's actually bad news, since an intermittent...

Yes, I have got one of these (sent to me as a sample for comment/testing purposes). Although I've spoken with several folks about it and demo'd it a couple times, I have been meaning to post a proper review so allow me to do that now. Let me start by saying I am impressed for the most part. ...

The jitter you see in the video looks like signal interference on the Y axis. Could be a bad ground, bad cable, or a loose connection. Could also be bad position feedback coming back into the amp from the scanners. Couple things you can try... First: Swap one end of the cables that go...

Kumpula had a lasercube on display in the cafeteria at SELEM this year. Cool little unit, although the color balance is massively blue-heavy. Still, when you turn the blue down to get a reasonable white you still have a nice 300-ish mw projector, and it's battery-powered, which is pretty unique. ...

Do you know when it supposedly happened? The photo you posted looks old; if this was something that happened long ago it may not have been deemed newsworthy - especially if it was quickly shut down. Then too, even if it did make the papers, if it happened before the explosion of the world...

It seems to be basically a LaserDock that is small and battery patterned. Based on that I assume it is compatible with my software (Spaghetti) but it isn't listed on their webpage.

The Venus seems to have slightly better scanning and divergence. Just read the specs. Honestly thatís not much of a projector. You should be able to build it yourself for about half sans scanners. The scanners they offer a fine for beam shows but if you want graphics spend a bit more and go...

Presumably its because the Starburst comes with the grating effects wheel. However you have to be sure, its an option, and they don't always have stock (as I found out when enquiring about the Starburst 5.5 last year) Also, the Starburst appears to have better beam specs (1mrad vs 1.4mrad)
