There are some materials I received from Brian a while back that I haven't posted photos or questions regarding yet. One being a library of original show EPROMS, from which the DOGN and dogloid 6502 code was previously recovered. I assume that is the main item of interest in these chips, but I...

I have this "mini laser stage lighting" setup (Item NW-S-D03 if that means anything) and I just need to make it write the text I want it to write. It has an SD card and it uses ILDA files. I was wondering if there are any stock template files out there that let you do text, or if I need to learn to...

FYI the ilda file format has no means of storing frames per second. It's just vector and color information. It also has nothing to say about optimization for display. It can contain a frame set that looks good on an SD card reader at whatever frame rate is available. But you have to know how to get...

I do not have a great answer. Maybe the best approach will be to stretch your animation/show to a different amount of time so that you can change the FPS options that are available will export at 50 fps. For example. If you have a 2 second long animation. Stretch everything to 4 seconds long. ...

Sorry for hanging you there laser boy brother. I saw your youtube tutorials. And saw your old school white keyboard. I really love those kind of white keyboards. When I was 4 or 5, we used to have a similar keyboard at home. And that keyboard is the thing I wish it was here today. Brings me old...

Because that guy Andrew hanged me for 12 days. And he just acted like it was a normal thing that happens every 12 days. So I refunded. Since...

Look at your other thread: https://photonlexicon.com/forums/showthread.php/28525-How-to-export-to-ilda-in-lsx?p=358440#post358440 Right click in the black timeline area. That way of exporting from LSX will give you the correct timing. You might have to convert the ILD file from that...

You said that you received a few lasers "with drivers". If they have a driver, then Loopee's warning above regarding constant-current is not applicable; that's what the driver is for. All you need to do is ensure that your 5 volt DC power supply can provide enough current to the driver. The...

Hey Brett Laser diodes, just like LEDs, are constant current devices, so you really need to know the current rating to avoid destroying them. The other thing to watch is that that diode is an 808nm laser and therefore not visible, so watch your eyes.

I don't think what you saw was the Choreographics card, that was the earlier 3D graphics computer whose name escapes me for the moment. Choreographics was a Nubus card that was installed in a Mac (We had a Mac IIsi at Morrison Planetarium). I do not, unfortunately, have any schematics or hardware...

Sheep also appeared in The Beatles show in the number "Good Night". I believe that the earliest scanned image in Laserium was the logo itself (Seen in the archive photo below, above the lumia). That little spiral at the top of the "L" is just the non-feedback scanner ringing, but we used that...

I went to the International Planetarium Society conference in 1994. Zeiss was introducing a line of Fluorite APO refractors for the amateur market, and we were the distributors in the US.
