PM me with an email address. There is a difference between what a VCA, 2Q and 4Q multipliers can do. I want to send you a schematic to try. Switching between AM and multiplication is a thing. Basically, I want to show you how to multiply cheaply with common components. Steve

Interesting. Yeah I see that now that you mention it. That is the phase shifting. For phase modulation, I guess analog multipliers would be needed? Attached is a note on pm cycloids.

Variable phase is done by adding an OPAMP buffer or unity gain inverter each to 0' and 90' phases and hanging a single potentiometer off both outputs, and the wiper slides from phase to phase. There are other ways, such as vcf lowpass or bandpass , but this is a start. Steve

I removed the video. On second thought it seemed kind of tactless to publicize rude cycloids. The interesting part was seeing the image evolving with dials turning at the same time. The screen shot in the previous post shows the phase modulation function. I'm not sure how common the phase...
