Midi mapping live pro

Ok so this is a multi part post, first I have seen much mapping presets for the novation mk III something or other as it pertains to live pro control and is a decent surface for audio/midi production although I myself have not been able to experiment it's use with LP, What I have been able to tool around with is this,Attachment 15498
The akai apc 40 I had bought this to use with Ableton live for a sort of live on live liver than live knob turnin pad pushin bonanza, to which I have yet to get off the ground. Anyhow I have become more aware of this controllers true versatility In Pangolin live pro,I mean it is set up like it was meant for this program. So secondly I would like to know if any of you fellers have seen,own,noticed or had the ability to try this hardware out? And if any of had too maybe would like to help me develop a master map? I'm sure the especially daunting task will have its bugs,and that brings me to the whole reason to the thread ,troubleshooting and getting what I believe what will change the way live laser gets down. A little help,insight,and some plain ole creative criticism is needed to see if it is even worth the time.

I've got a Novation Remote Zero SL, as per Mark and Andy's reccomendation, and spent literally many hours programming it and reprogramming it. :)
I know it's totally different to your controller; looks quite similar to the Novation Launchpad. But decided against getting a 'cue based' controller after getting a mega touchscreen :)

I know that doesn't help you too much; so the only advice I can give is set aside MANY hours and get a good cuppa or 10 to get it done in no time.

Just make sure your buttons are sending MIDI Note signals and your faders/pots are sending CC signals and you should be peachy...

You can view the MIDI signals coming in and out of LivePro on screen which helps with testing....

Yeah I have a lcd touch slate pad the one problem that I run into is the resolution if its to high the controls are too small and if its too low well you get the idea i guess if i get a 22'' that may be big enough,although the lemur DAW controller looks promising. I feel the a hardware slider and a cue button a v-pot is gonna be easier to keep my eyes on the show, I'm not happy with the preview even though there has been great improvements to its visual appeal it will never have what the crowd can do to iron out a unforgettable live performance. Writing cue presets that "WOW" is really the key to the program so pending time assigning V-pots to transition effects and color modulation and sliders to the beam and actuator to level faders, keeping the cue pads the same would allow for some super fast response.I'm gonna start on it in the morning and I will update this thread with my findings. If I get a good map I will be happy to share it with any who have this device,and as before would like any tips or insight.:th_wink:
