Laser Harp - Success!
I know you can't see sh*t in this video, but I finally got it working stand-alone. No computer involved at all.:D

As I say, it looks feeble through the camera, but from where I was it looked great.
First time with a Hazer, rather than a fogger too...
A big thank you to all the people on here that helped me to put this together - especially Genesis and mixedgas.

How much green power is in there?

There are two lasers in the box 225mw Red and a 200mw Green - not exactly color balanced, but I want the beams to change color when I play it.
I have to wear white gloves to make it 100% reliable, it will work with just hands but you have to be careful not to trigger multiple notes.
I'm thinking about putting together a website with all the details, hopefully others can improve on the design.
The next step is to make it interrupt driven, it's polling the beam sensor at the moment, not very efficient.

It used an Arduino, a 12bit DAC, and some TAOS light to voltage sensors.
I plan on putting together a website where I publish all my research in the hope that people can improve on it...
