I have tried to emulate this and while I get some aspects close, it completely lacks the complexity going on here.
Those are swept spirals. I wouldn't be surprised if the photo was shot during Bolero from Laserium I. It looks like a time exposure of where the master gain was ramped over the course of 6 spiral ramp cycles. Some of the fine structure is likely moire patterning from the original halftone or scan sampling.Quote:
