With an virtual machine with 2 cpu's , 4GB of assigned memory, Assigned 1024 MB to video memory.
Disabled Adaptive Hypervisor, Performance set on virtual machine. Power: Better performance
With 2 virtual network cards, 1 on dhcp for my own network and one fixed for networks without dhcp
Running Windows 7 X64 in full screen screen;
Running;
Beyond,
Quickshow
LD2000
Showtime,
Autoplay,
Livepro and the the W7 Network patch running with .net's and FB3's All together or individual with an APC40 without any problem!
I can even run Itunes , camtasia, serato DJ with my ns6 and Photoshop at the same time.
However.. those last one i would not do when performing :) why take the risk.. But its pretty nice with testing. :P

james, lets say I am really not savvy to this, does that laserboy do what I need, IE I make a program, load it on SD card and place it in my cheap o import laser and it works?

Sure.
You can make all kinds of art in LaserBoy and export it as ILDA files onto your SD card.
LaserBoy reads and writes all formats of ILDA. It also reads and writes DXF CAD drawings, plain ASCII text tables and wave files.
Look it up on Google! There's TONS of information about it!
