Superb review ben , pictures are always good :D
so when can we expect to see in in the for sale forum as a slightly used 6 watt 532 viasho? :p
Just wondering, how much pump power is used in IR for this 4W to come out ?
Very nice review Ben :D
Now I know what that little space on my workbench is missing *retardo

Well, threshold for green is around 1.26A according to the power supply, assuming there is lasing before that, let's assume a 1.1A threshold with a 1W/A slope efficiency. That means that it will make around 9W at 10A (assuming the current is correct). That means there is a 44.5% efficency pump to green. This is very high, I am guessing the current is either scaled or not correct. I will check for IR as I have not done that yet. Perhaps there are more then 1 diode and they are run in series.
Very nice review Ben! I also noticed the class IIIb sticker, that should be changed but is no big deal with the overall quality of the rest of the unit. Looks like a great module!
