Does that have a built in TEC driver?
What is the difference between the old FlexMod and this new one?

Although im still confused.. Are they single diodes or 2 or 3 in one module for 190-240USD.?

If they are single (1watter) i take 5.
If they are Double (2watter) i take 5.
If they are Tri (3watter) i take 5
And if they are quad i take 5 :)

Do you think your quad kits, will accomodate 4 of these 445 diodes, including optics?
also, you might also want to cut out baseplate to accomodate a tec , since Heroic is working on a tec kit for a quad setup.....??

The price is for a kit that is made for one diode, the diode itself is supplied by you. If you want to buy multiple kits and combine them it should be possible to get up to four diodes combined used a knife edge technique and a PBS.

I think you're joking but just in case, what do you think this is, chicken mc nuggets? :) This is a single high quality setup with optics and a controller (among other things) that will be good for precision graphics and pencil beams. I think a lot of people are thinking dual and quad now, just because they can not because they really need 4W of blue.

oh yeah anything can be done...basically ill nab one of these kits and make duals and quads. The only problem is 4 flexmods, 4 tec and 4 of everything else which probably isnt necessary...meh I'll see what comes out of LAVALABS first then either make something or go camping.:D
