I know this thread is getting old, but I wanted to share my findings with my RGV projector
I am running low powers (about 30mw total at this point), but I got a very nice white with 5mw green, 12mw 405nm, and 12mw 650nm. I am not 100% sure on the numbers, and the beams aren't all exactly to same size so I would imagine they are not too accurate to begin with, but I did produce white with the roughly 1:2:2 ratio. I was amazing at how little 405nm was needed, you can almost hardly see the 10mw of 405 on its own, but it turns the orange from red+green into a quite stunning white.
It works according to Chroma as well which kind of double checks the accuracy of the programme.
I think several people have found previously they can make white with V, the problem has always been the visibility of V on its own.

If I mix 100mw 532, 50mw 473 and 250mw 640, is it going to look any good, will I get a decent white? I cant afford anymore blue!
Chroma predicts you need more blue as expected.
That said, as others will tell you, this is a theoretical prediction and so you may find more leeway in reality than you think. Also, you can always reduce the powers on your green and red if necessary to achieve white.

It will probably be a bit heavy on the red, but it will look good. And make sure you get them with analog modulation.
You would save some money by opting for a 650nm red, at the expense of beam diameter.

I just downloaded the chroma program and I do like it, but my concern with using it is the fact that the human color sensitivity curve varies so much from person to person. I guess we are all close enough on average for it to work, though. How do the dichros and galvo mirrors play in to the results?
