Since the cat is out of the bag as far as who I am I may as well post something useful. I am tentatively planning to attend SELEM 2010. I cannot commit at this time due to reasons that I do not wish to disclose, but, if I do, I will give away a free Spaghetti to any attendee that wants one.
Now, back to being a non-poster.

Hey Gary;
I'll have a buffered ILDA splitter at SELEM that will allow me to connect up to 10 projectors to a single controller. I'd *really* like to see some of the beam shows that have been developed for Spaghetti running on multiple, synchronized projectors. How about you? Think we can make that happen this year?
Adam
Wow! that's a pretty great deal. See you there hopefully (not for a Spaghetti, already have one, but for you).
Whoa - very generous offer!!Quote:

Thanks. :D
I will not be attending SELEM for various reasons.
Mophead, send me an email using the support email on my hingednewt website. Since you expressed interest I will be happy to give you a freebie license.
Aw man...
Sorry to hear that Gary. I know you said you might not be able to make it for the entire event, but I was looking forward to seeing you for at least part of it... I assume another scheduling conflict cropped up?
Adam
Just conflicts. I don't feel comfortable attending.

People should put aside their differences and have some fun once in a while. Hell, we have 51 other weekends to bitch about things online but only 1 weekend to meet up and have some fun. It's really disappointing.
Forgive me, but what is a Spaghetti? It sounds like something I would be interested in having, but knowing what it was would be helpful. :-)

Cheers!
That's frickin' sweet!!!! I would love one!Quote:

Man, I like Wilmington. If I lived there I'd be surfing that weekend. haha. I'm all landlocked here.
Currently I am not planning on attending SELEM but may have to change my mind based on some of the responses I have received.
Well I hope so. You have a demo version of Spaghetti I can download? I was really impressed with what I saw. :-)
Ha Ha, forgot all about you said you loved surfing. I never learned, but I've always thought I would like it. I just lay out on the beach.
No demo at the moment but it is something I plan on having in the next version (2.0).Quote:

We were 300 miles out over the Atlantic when we had to turn round due to the rear of the plane starting to fill with smoke. AT that point the pilot didn't know it was just smoke, they had to assume the worst that there was an actual fire on board... Scary stuff!!. The plane staff were preparing us for a ditch into the sea . Seems you guys hadn't seen a mega sized jumbo jet land on that airstrip before, we became something of celebrities in the newspaper the next day :).
I have to say the people we met during our brief 24 hour stayover were absolutely brilliant and did everything they could to make us welcome. I particularly remember the very nice staff at the place where we stayed (I think it was the Holiday Inn) and also at a steakhouse around the corner where I had a MEGA steak for lunch.
It seemed a really nice place and i'd love to return one day under different circumstances.
Cheers

Yeah, what DZ said.... :)Quote:

Welcome to PhotonLexicon, lulighttec. Glad to see you'll be at SELEM this year. I've already added you to the list of attendees. ;)
Adam
Thank you! I'm looking forward to it.
If you are interested in getting a free license for Spaghetti at SELEM please find me at the event and let me know. I have come up with a few restrictions that I hope you find fair.
Please,
(1) Paid attendees only, not guests. I have to draw the line somewhere. If you bring a truckload of friends you will all have to share. :)
(2) Come talk to me in person. I'll be there all 3 days so there will be plenty of time to find me. I'll need to get some info to create a license but I basically just want to meet you, find out what kind of stuff you are interested in, answer questions, etc.
(3) This is only for those who don't already have a license. But if you already have one and want another come see me anyway. Maybe we can haggle a deal.
Feel free to contact me ahead of time to give me your info. I'll need your email address and your Spaghetti serial number that appears in the application after you install it. You'll still need to come see me at SELEM but I will have your license file ready so that you can use it, make fun of it, or whatever you want. If you do not send me your info ahead of time I can not guarantee that I will be able to create a license at the event and may have to send one to you once I return home.
See you next week.
wow really? thats pretty cool... would be nice to use my soundcard dac for more than just playing back ADAT shows *retardo
