Hi Everybody! I was wondering if anyone had some quickshow shows they wanted to share with everyone? I will be posting some sometime soon. Thanks in advance! :)
Hi i will create some shows just geting used to the program Im new to quick show I had Mamba for years now trying quick show.
looking forward to it!
I've had plans to create a show for a long time but may just wait for Beyond now as the shows complexity makes it difficult to achieve what I want to do in QS alone.
However, I'm going to keep supplying some free to download cues in the future so keep your eyes peeled.
Once you finish a Quick show show you drag and drop but how do you save for others?
what file do you upload which includes the music.
In mamba it has pack and save type file Confused....O_o
I believe its the .qshw file. Put the mp3 and the .qshw into a zip..
before that you go to the menu of the quicktime line and go to save show
You'll find the music track is saved into a folder called "Music for Shows":
http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/8928/qsmusic.jpg
I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that all music for all shows is probably saved in there. So I think you're going to have to manually add the track to the zip that corresponds to the show you've produced. <Insert warning about file sharing here> :)
Hi all guys!
I just uploaded on PL ftp server my first Pangos QS show...:)
You can find it on subdirectory: Laser Shows/Pangolin/Quickshow/Run Like Hell.rar (>20Mb file)
I hope it works fine...
Please read first "README.txt" file.
Any comment and suggestion are welcome.
Enjoy you! (I wish..)
Steve:)
what are the heb files?
Heb files?
For more safety, I checked just now the compressed folder I uploaded on ftp server: it contains 3 files:
- README.txt (1KB);
- Run Like Hell.mp3 (4,147KB):
- Run Like Hell.qshw (16,132KB), this last one is the genuine "show".
How you get ".heb" files? That's strange.
".heb files" are the original format frames which I used to create the show by Showeditor2010, then I exported the whole show to ILDA format obtaining two tracks named "run like hell0.ild" and "run like hell1.ild".
So I imported these two ilda files by Quickshow, I added mp3 file and, finally, I saved the show as "Run Like Hell.qshw" (as well Pangolin QS format...).
If you do a right-mouse-click on "Run Like Hell.qshw" file and then you select the Windows option: "open file with..." choosing Quickshow, show is loaded by QS and it is ready to play (you also have to load the mp3 file, obviously).
I repeat: this is strange....How is possible you found "heb.files"?
I am not an expert user of Pangolin QS.... maybe I mistaken something...
In truth I thought I well done everything.
Mistery.....
Anyway here I am for any question.
Ragards
sorry Im confuesed as hellO_o
Hi everybody from Spain!!
My first time here. Sorry for my silly question but... where do you upload and download the shows you share?
Thanks
Steve,
Great show and to my favorite all time rock song. One question: the "Run" text and the prism at the end are upside down and backwards on my QS. Did I do something wrong loading it or ?
Thanks,
Gene
Theres a ftp server on here but I think people may want to know you a little better than 1 post before giving you access.
Alternatively, if you have a FB3 (which I'm presuming you do because you have QS), then theres a pangolin website for sharing called Pangolin Shows. You register you details against the FB3 serial and from then onwards can upload / download shows (all uploads are subject to admin approval).

Hi Gene
Your software works fine. Don't worry mate.
For sure when I created show by original software (Showeditor) Y and X scanner settings has been set "invert Y and invert X" function, because my projector settings needed this way to play show correctly....
Anyway... If I can remember well when I tested the show by QS it run fine.
Does the word "RUN" comes out written in right way or not? (not mirrored or upside down)?
If it is also inverted, you have just to "invert" X-Y settings into QS.
Thanks to appreciate my humble job.:)
Greets.
Steve
Is there supposed to be something in track 1?
I only get output from track 2 and a small icon on track 1.
Attachment 21774
I think I finally worked out how to share shows go to ftp and look for christmas 2010 let me know cheers
Track 2 - satellite have to be set as "Zone 2: scanner 2 main".
(mouse cursor over track 2 label - right click - properties - choose "Zone 2: scanner 2 main").
This show was made for 2 projector and 2 USB devices.
If you have only one USB device connected, you can not have any preview or any laser emission about track 2.
(you should have to change settings of track 2 as "Zone 1: scanner 1 main" to see both track played by one projector only).
Greets!
Hi all
I'm really glad to share with all you guys my last beamshow...*DZ
Its name is "JUMP" (Jump.rar - 4,98MB - 5,230,878 uncompressed size)
You can find it at the same old place...
ftp://ftp.photonlexicon.com/Laser%20...lin/Quickshow/
Please read CAREFULLY "README.txt" file.
I hope you like it.
Greetings.
Steve
p.s. I made a (crap) video also....
here is the link..... Please don't vomit while seeing:o
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38LN0HM-n6w
I pulling a copy down now and will see if it runs on my version.
Edit: imports and runs fine on mine.
Are you sure you extracted it first using win rar?
Also you need to import the show then seperately choose set audio track to import the music.
Its possible that 7-zip isn't extracting the files correctly. The other 2 shows in this thread work perfectly. I'm using version 282.
I'll try winrar to extract the files.
Hi all guyz:)
On PLftp server, inside Shows/Pangolin/Quickshow section, you can find another beamshow made from me.:)
Original show has been written by Showeditor and it has placed at 7th position at Regensburg Laserfreak Award 2010 (Germany) last September 29th.
Name of beamshow is: "Bond Girl remix" (I apologize... correct group's name is "Bond Girls"...). Compressed file is *bond girl remix.rar* (about 12MB).
Show has been exported to ILDA format "5", loaded by QS and then saved as "qshw" format.
Optimized for 20kpps scan; 30fps.
Track 1= zone 1: scanner 1 main
Track 2= zone 2: scanner 2 main
Glad to share it with all you.*DZ
Greets!
Steve
You guys are killing me with all these Quickshow shows I can't view !! O_o
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERe4od0DYZkHi all uploaded new show Recipe for love view below for quick show only sorry as its a Pangolin Show I just redid it for quick show buddys.
On FTP cheers
Hi Sofo...
Don't be sad mate...
I just exported to ".lds" both files which forming the show for you and all LD2000/LivePRo users....:D
I warn you: I am NOT a so Pangos expert user.... So I could have done (I hope not...) some cock-up while export procedure....:o
You can find the show named "Bond Girl remix for LD2000 or LivePro.rar" (about 87MB size 'cause including mp3 file) here:
ftp://ftp.photonlexicon.com/Laser%20...Live%20PRO.rar
Try it and let me know...
In positive case (show should be working).... then it will means you have just received a small Christmas gift from Italy*DZ
Cheers!
Steve
Nice one Steve. :)
Although I'm not sure how to combine both lds files as I (think I) can only load one at a time.
Buon Natale !
Hey Steve,
Some nice shows you're making there.
Are they being made in LD and then exported to QS?
Just wondered because some of the previews look like they're LD to me. Great shows either way, just interested to know how you've been making them so quick!
Also another question, if you create custom cues and then save the show, do the cues get saved with it in some form?
I'm wondering because I'm trying to put a show together but if I distribute it and you don't have the cues in your workspace will it work?
Merry Christmas you too Soforene!:D (b.t.w. perfect translation you done)
Thanks to appreciate my job.:D
OK...
Here I'm coming to give all necessary infos (I wish)...
I'm going describe all operations.
I used Laserworld "Showeditor 2010" software to create all my shows (I made 30 shows up now...).
Usually my shows are composed:
- two tracks of effects/figures for main projector
- one track of effect/figures for satellite(s) projector(s).
When show is complete, I export the whole show using Showeditor's appropriate function.
Exported show's chars are:
- Format of file: ILDA "type 5" (coordinates and colours);
- Frames per second = 30
This way two files are generated (example: xxxxx0.ild and xxxxx1.ild).
Usually xxxxx0.ild contains main projector tracks, xxxxx1.ild contains satellite track.
Now I open QuickShow and I import into Workspace's cue both two ILDA files I saved before.
Opening dialog window of single cue, I choose (cue properties):
cue which contains file xxxxx0.ild (main projector):
- (General) = Zone 1: scanner 1 main
- (Image) = Time based animation; 30 FPS;
- (Sequence)= terminate cue after last frame.
cue wich contains file xxxxx1.ild (satellite projector):
- (General) = Zone 2: scanner 2 main
- (Image) = Time based animation; 30 FPS.
- (Sequence)= terminate cue after last frame.
Now I drag and drop cues into QuickTimeline:
- cue which contains main projector sequence into "Track1";
- cue which contains satellite projector sequence into "Track2".
- I load mp3 soundtrack.
Then I do right-mouse-click over each track (green highlighted) and I repeat into "Event properties" the same settings used before into each cue ("Cue properties"). Now I set the right lenght of events, extending or shortening them, up to obtain the same one of soundtrack.
Using "Track properties" I assign output zones to each track:
- "Track 1" = Zone 1: Scanner 1 Main;
- "Track 2" = Zone 2: Scanner 2 Main.
FINISH! QS Show is done!*retardo
Obviously, as I only have one FB3-SE USB device, I can see (in preview mode also) only one projector running. When I assign same "Zone" settings to both tracks, I can play the whole show using one projector only.... but, most times, this is a very dangerous test to my Scan Pro 40 scanners.....:sidefrown:
Well...
About how to export show to LD2000 or LivePro format now...
When created the show inside QuickTimeline, I do this:
- I clear all tracks of show and I load only one track each time, then I use drag & drop to move sequence from QuickTimeline preview window to an empty cue of workspace. Done this, I apply the option "export cue" just created from QS main file menu. I keep all settings as default proposed.
- I repeat this operation how many times needs (usually 2 times only, because show to export is composed by two tracks only.... ).
That's really all.
Hoping this can be helpful.
I also apologize for my ugly english:o.... too many technicals words to translate.... I hope you can fully understand text.
All the best
Steve
Hey Steve,
many thanks for sharing your Shows and translating them to QS as well. I already enjoyed your shows very much on HE-Laserscan. Since I have now switched to FB3 and Quickshow as well I am sure I will enjoy them now too! Keep up the good work, your Shows are great!
Andreas
Hi Andreas
Thanks for to appreciate my shows:)
Hoping that Mr. Janitor Admin doesn't become angry.... I thought to create, into PLftp server, a couple of new folders named "Steve Milani shows".:o
One is placed into Laser Shows/Pangolin/QuickShow section, the other one is inside Laser Shows/Pangolin/LD2000 section.
They both contains shows I've converted from Showeditor2010 to QuickShow and LD2000/LivePro format.
These folders will be updated continuosly by me with all shows (about 30) I created up today. Just let me the time to do...
Some show may seems "fool" or "too much simple", some other may be better appreciated... You don't forget I am a humble hobbist, not a professional laserist.
All of you are the "jury".
A big thanks to Admin, for his huuuuge patience.
Greetings!:)
Steve
Hi, I have downloaded your Qs shows and they are nice, but occasionally they will not play.
This is because you have to have the IDLA file in your workspace.
I have found this out by converting all my La Show Rider shows to .ILD format and then as you, I put them in a quick time line format and save it. Now if you transfer computers you and open the QS save you will see that occasionally it will work and sometimes it won't, now when you go to drag this up to your workspace you will see that almost always it doesn't work if you didn't have the .ILD frame in your work space to being with that you made the show with.
So if you could, would it be possible for you to export your .ILD files to? So we can drag them into the time like from our workspaces?
by the way the ones i could view were very nice work,
[QUOTE=f22warzone;174152].....So if you could, would it be possible for you to export your .ILD files to? So we can drag them into the time like from our workspaces?QUOTE]
OK...
I will save all my shows to ILDA format only. This way I hope QS, LD2000 and LivePro users can load them:)
Just let me the time to do.... (each conversion needs about 10-15 minutes)
