Yes this is true , when they just turn up and spam a load of threads.
But some are ok ie linda and winni at goldenstar lasers
They are ok in my books
thats occuring at other places too, like laserfreak, but more spam robots...
We need to get email addresses from them so we can link them to porn site, see how they like the spam.
I don't know what's changed in just the past 2 weeks or so, but my forum (based on the Simple Machines Forum) is getting slammed with new members. They never get past the initial sign up to become registered members, but I get like 50+ a day!

I am sure this is due to 2 factors.
1. The Chinese always ramp up SPAM before Christmas.
2. Kiddies are on school holidays...
The captchas are getting cracked faster and faster. The admin really needs to install the latest captcha extensions, the newest ones really cut down on spam.
We need a person or two who's on the forum daily who can delete spam

I just reported that post. Shouting for Spec on a thread that is shouting for spec. That was a bit if weirdness I couldn't pass up.
I did the same! Maybe mentioning spam attracts spam? Maybe we could just create bait threads regarding 'sell foans' and all the crap will end up there?Quote:
