I open my present tomorrow (that is actually today becouse the clock is now 01:22am)

And yes I open my presents the 24th december ...
When do you do it ?

We usually open them on the 25th. That's the reason for my confusion :wink: .

Oh man, that means you get your presents one day before I do, so I have to wait longer to get them :cry: :lol:

When I was a kid, we used to open the family gifts on C-mas eve, and then on C-mas day we'd open the gifts that "Santa" left. It was kinda cool that way.

We did the same thing when my kids were little, but once they stopped believing in the jolly guy in the red suit, we started opening all the gifts on C-mas morning.

My wife's family used to have a rule that you could open *ONE GIFT* on Christmas eve, but the rest had to wait until Christmas morning. We don't do that though, because lots of times one gift sort of goes with another one, and we don't want to screw up the order. (I guess we could always put those gifts aside 'till the morning though... Eh, maybe we'll try it next year.)

Jkaiser: I'm usually a last-minute shopper... This year I actually did pretty well to get a head start on things, but I just realised that I forgot a few people, so when I get off in the morning I'll have to do some more rapid shopping. It's ok though - I'm good at it! :wink: Nice to know that if I ever move to Venesuela, I'll fit right in! (Well, at least as far as Christmas shopping goes, that is!)

Hey Adam, you're more then welcome to come here :wink: . But, leaving everything for last minute is not limited to christmas. There's a saying that goes like this: don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today. Well, that does not apply to the people down here, I'll tell you that :wink: , including me, of course :lol:

I saw a great show on the History Channel the other day. I can't remember the name or what year this happened, but it was about a Christmas day back in the beginning of WWI, when parts of the entrenched German and British line, both layed down thier arms and celebrated Christmas together for a brief time. And that is what its about... Its sad that we are all seperated by these political lines and can bring ourselves to such a point when deep down inside, we all breathe the same air and bleed the same blood....
