And, just two weeks after I already bought some....... :p
That's a great price though!
The beginning of the 100:
Bradfo69 3 - 3.8mm, 2 - 9mm
Only 95 more to go!
I'll take four of the 9 mm mounts.
That brings us up to 9. Just 91 to go!
Adam
4 9mm for captain swamipants..
I am in for 4 9mm and a 3.8. I still have to use the set from the last group buy for the 5.6mm... We need a 520nm diode group buy after this *nyancat*retardo.
Adam
82-83 to go. We're about 20% there!
I might be interested. Do you have any details on the mounts? I'm not entirely sure what kind they are.
Here is a picture of the adjustable 5.6mm type. The normal ones, the diode drops into a cavity in the main brass block

Attachment 44542
Sorry to be slow, but... what can be adjusted on the adjustable mount that can't be adjusted on the normal mount? It looks like there are four mounting screws that will hold the plate against the main mount body... Do these have some "wiggle room" compared to the diameter of the screws so you can 'center' the diode with respect to the collimator?
Is there any angular adjustment possible between the LD and the face of the collimator? Doesn't look like it, but I have not seen a mount that offers that degree of freedom.
I'm assuming it's straightforward to rotate the diode in either mount to adjust polarization?
Thanks for the info for the n00b... :)
I don't post here very often, but I would potentially be interested in a couple...they are M9x0.5 threaded, correct? (if it makes any difference, I have ~1,400 posts on LPF and have bought/sold several things there)
I'll take 4 of each size.
From Dave's website:"
Set includes 3 parts, being the diode housing, a retainer plate to clamp the diode in, and a metal foot. screws for clamp plate and mounting plate are included.
M9,0.5mm thread for commonly available lenses. Brass foot can be orientated in 2 different ways as shown in photo."

Thanks Sugeek.
if I would be in, I would probably want either 1x5.6mm and 1x9mm, or 2x5.6mm, 1x9mm, and 1x3.8mm. Depending on the current monetary situations. I'm sure you all know the laser hobby has a tendency to empty your wallet...
That's about 66 to 68 or so.... keep it going!!:)
OK, count me in for 8!
I need 6x 5.6mm and 2x 9mm.
-David
I'm in for 6
2x 5.6mm and 4x 9mm
Bump... About halfway there folks! You know you're gonna need some someday. Now is the time to stock up! :)
Ok, what the hell, 2 of each size for me!
Over a week with no action. Gotta give this a bump! :) We're more than halfway I believe.
OK I'm in for 6:
5 X 5.6mm, and 1 X 3.8mm.
good point dave. Want to bundle the 2mm lens with these? is the 2mm lens always the choice regardless of diode?
The 2mm lens is really only useful with the Mitsubishi reds, the new 405g2 O like is selling is pretty good for blue and green with cylindricals
Rather than send $$ to NO-Like and wait-- this lens is in stock in Houston=

I am interested depending on how soon we can get this going... 5.6mm is the 445nm and kits 638 diodes right?

Sigh... a wonderful number >:) but, not in this case. C'mon folks!
Add 2 of the 5.6mm's for me. I don't know what I'll use them for but, at least we're only down to 29 to get this going.
Swami, what color you looking for. Can't remember if they were broadband or not, but I can look up the lens I was using in my single mode x12 red build, if it might work. Should have a couple I could just send ya if you want to try em out.
ALso in need of an adjustable mount for reds if those fit in the scope of this buy.
So I think with polished balls 1 adjustable mount we are at 70.. Anyone else? Getting close :)
I am in need of some mounts fairly quickly, was going to contact you about it but just noticed this group buy. Would there be much of an additional delay in buy this way vs direct through you ? As fast probably the most important in this case vs price.
I'm in need of 4 5.6mm's that I can think of at the moment and possibly 9mm or two, and if budget allows a few 3.8mm's. I'm just trying to determine whether adjustable or standard would be the best for me. It's for doubling up my blues into quad modules, was planning to test one of the 2mm fl lenses with blue next week as if I can get a small enough initial beam size without too much loss, I'd much rather stack the pairs rather than knife edge.
Perhaps someone can save me some time though, has anyone build a quad using the f2's and stacking ?
Ok, I go for another one 5.6mm
I've seem you mention that in the past, but was hoping something had changed as unfortunately the focal length of the g2 which is what I've been using in my duals, results in too tall a beam to stack and so would have to knife edge or telescope it down after correction which I'm hoping to avoid. I think it was Logsquared who posted that he had some decent results with your 2mm lens, which is what got me re-thinking it.
But count me in for some mounts anyhow. Will figure it out over the next or two exactly how many.
In addition to the laser addiction, John is/was also avid in the collection of pinball machines, hence the screen name "polishedball".
OK, count me in for 4x 5.6mm
Please add me for six of the 5.6mm and one 9mm, Thanks.
Ok... we're in the low 90's. Just few more! Let's go folks! I need my 9mm soon!
Dave, I think it's time to start printing shipping labels. :) I don't know how you counted 70 in post 36 - I counted 72 I think.
Count me in for 4 5.6mm's and 2 9mm's, and 3 3.8mm
How quickly are they able to be shipped ? Optimally I would like to get ahold of at least the 4 5.6mm's by the end of october. If you think it's better just to buy direct, I can do that for them and just do the 9mm's and 3.8's through the group buy ?
I'll take 2 x 3.8mm, 2 x 5.6mm & 2 x 9mm please.
I need 6x 5.6mm (normal, NOT adjustable) but how much will shipping be?
Will have to check - shipping via airmail will be fairly cheap
