So, does anyone have a good idea for this year's SELEM Logo? If so, please post it below! :)
Just like last year, we will once again have both the traditional knit polo shirt and the jersey-knit T-shits available. Both shirts will be black and have an embroidered logo on the left side.
This post shows the logo from last year, and this post shows some of the other logos we've had.

Hello Adam and Laser Friends,
A few initial ideas for logos that I hope look decent. An old school beam image in some logos, with an early “Spirograph” abstract in the other. Memories for some of us that built these as projectors in our pre-galvo days…
I hope to see what others create as well.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at SELEM this year!

I like the 4th one down on Shadows post but, I also think having each letter made up of 15's is probably not going to render well. Maybe just the first S be made with 15's?
The only time I have missed Jon, he had some good logo ideas. Wish I was creative enough, can't say I care for any so far, I do like the basic look of Greg's, but wow sad I missed SELEM11 love that logo!
I like some of Greg's logos, but I think they need more color. Jay's logos are certainly colorful, but I think they are too busy and would not work with the embroidery.
Honestly, I'd love to see a logo inspired by some of the abstracts that DZ can get out of the Z-5 console, although I admit that most of those would also be very hard (if not impossible) to embroider on a shirt...
We still have 3 weeks before I need to finalize the shirt order, so we've got time for more submissions. Anyone else have any ideas?

The only ideas I can add is using the "S" in SELEM as a "5" in "15"..
So it would look something like:
1
5ELEM
And maybe have some laser beams go from the top of the "1" down to the letters E-L-E-M
Or we can do like the Superbowl® and use Roman numerals:
SELEM XV
or
SELEM
XV
I can't do graphics that well, just spitballing ideas.

Happy to oblige! I came up with something super simple but has a hidden message. The abstract is made from two independent sine wave oscillators, one for X and one for Y. The X oscillator is running at 1x and the Y oscillator is running at 5x. *retardoQuote:

The multicolor one looks great! I’d like to suggest an edit to the colors though. The letters should be red, yellow, green, cyan and blue. The abstract could be magenta. I would suggest removing the “15” though.

Howdy folks, I’m submitting a couple more for your consideration. Laserjock, sent over a style font that I’ve incorporated into the logo. Also adding a couple with a slightly different phase angle but with the same 1x, 5x ratio.
I really like the second image, much like the original but with the new lettering. The new font looks great!Quote:

Looks awesome. What's the name of the font used?
I found a laser logo online I liked and borrowed the font. I was able to reuse the L S & E. I just turned the E on its side and filled in the missing arch to make the M. It looked like a N I without it filled in.Quote:
