SELEM 16 (2023) Logo Ideas

Since the topic came up in the SELEM signup thread and since Adam didn't start a seperate thread I thought I would.

Post your brain melting twisted laser logos for SELEM 16 (2023) here.
When we get closer to when the shirt order must go in a winner will be selected.

Remember these need to be able to be embroidered so the image can't be too complicated or have colors that fade from one to another. Simple is better.

The winner gets serious bragging rights!

Here are most of the logos from years past.

Thanks for starting this thread, Chris!

I see you were missing a few logos, so I put together a composite image with all of the SELEM logos from the previous events. They are in order from left to right, top to bottom, starting with the very first SELEM in 2007 and running through SELEM 15 in 2022. (Note: no SELEM logo for 2020, as we had to cancel due to Covid.)

I'll start things off with this.

I don't see an attachment.

I went to some AI image generator thing and typed, "Design a logo for the South East Laser Enthusiast Meeting." and received the following. For the second pic, I simply added, "in Delaware." Thought it was quite interesting so I wanted to share! *retardo

Am I looking through Yes colored glasses? Or is Roger Dean's influence as wide as the ocean?

Have you heard about AI analyzing eeg brain waves and literally reading minds? That's not a joke.

Honestly surprised you didn't end up with something like this for that second one:

Why was I not notified of this chance to use my excellent skilz in Walleye Vision, Er... Paint.

5 minute draft of what WILL be the shirt logo, no exceptions... Cleanup by commercial artist might be appreciated as I cannot afford Photoshop or new Glasses... Till I win the coming lawsuit.

AI String: Logo with Pink Floyd Prism Laser Show Laser Conference Helium Neon Laser Tube

I like this one the most, so far.

I vote for Laserjock's logo- simple yet elegant, down right stunning. (even though I can't be there)

Congratulations, Chris! You've got the winning logo for this year.

Admittedly there were a lot of cool designs submitted, but the consensus was definitely in favor of your logo:

That's gonna look awesome on the shirts!

Nice logo, Chris!

Thank you for all of the kind words.
I am honored to have designed the SELEM 2023 Logo.
