I think the projected version of the PL logo must at least be scanable at 25kpps at 25 degrees at 25Hz.
The suggested logos above hardly suffice.

For comparison, I can *just* manage 20 characters at 18 degrees using a very simple single-line stick font with my ScanPro 50's, but only when they're tuned down to 30K speeds. Not sure of the refresh rate, but it's probably around 20 to 25 hz. (See the ending of my "why" graphics show for a demonstration.)

Ask and ye shall receive.. OK not quite. 22.6Hz at 20 degrees at 30kpps for my scanners :) With just the text and no boxes I was getting around 45 Hz.Quote:

Well wether the forum needs a new one or not its still fun coming up with new ones. I like playing around with typography so I came up with this simple design... Its simple and I will be honest and say I only like the Lexicon side of it.
At the top of the page on the right hand side "Yea... Logo needs work now..." I took that as a hint that a new one might be needed.

This is from an old thread. Was easy to make, just add the font style in windows, load up pangolin and typed it in designer. There was a whole lot of flicker, but the camera compensated for that.
