Yeah, it worked out that way, didn't it? I actually tried to schedule it for another weekend so that I wouldn't be stealing any of your thunder, but none of the alternate dates worked.

Fortunately, in this particular case I don't think we'll be "stealing" any attendees from each other... You guys are, what - 3000 miles away? Something like that anyway. So anyone that will be attending your meet probably wouldn't have driven all the way to Florida for ours, and vice-versa.

Still, I will admit that there might be a little competition for live-feed viewers on the Internet! Sorry about that...:o

Then again, we can do a cross-coast live laser show link-up if we get the live feeds working correctly... :D

By the way, how many people are thinking about being in Tavares on Friday night for a pre-FLEM dinner party? And where should we go?

Aaron suggested Outback Steakhouse, which is fine with me... It's only about a 1/4 mile from the venue, in fact. Anyone else planning to make it?

Not 100% sure yet. Maybe though. Aaron is in charge of getting the air card to work. Venue is located next to a hill, so reception is spotty. Last time we had 2 air cards and the broadcast went fairly well, but Aaron had a lot of problems. (Fortunately, Nathan set up on the other side of the room and his connection was much better.) We'll see how it goes this time around though.

I'd love to go to one of these LEMs sometime but I'm NORTHeast us, not southeast:p

Ah well I'm still pretty new to the game, I'm sure I'll get the chance someday:D

Well, FLEM is a pretty long drive for you, but SELEM isn't so bad. Whatcha got going on around the weekend of August the 15th and 16th? Fancy a trip to Newton, North Carolina for some laser fun? (Trust me, the trip will be worth it.);)

650 miles for a weekend trip? Might be worth it. I'll have to see who's all going as the time gets near.;)

Why not make it a long weekend and see some sights while you're in the area... Or make it a mini-vacation even. Charlotte is less than an hour away and has *lots* of things to keep you busy...

I'm not sure I'll be able to make the dinner party though. It all depends on the way things go at work... I've got a big project due that Friday and it all depends on that :o

Screw Outback then; Dominos and Albertson's liquor store is all we need. *DZ Depending on where I am working that day, office or at home, it will be at least 9pm before I can come out and play...

Somehow, now that I've "reverted" to civilian status, I'm finding that arranging helicopter rides is much more difficult - and expensive - than it used to be!! :(

Unfortunately, the real issues for that weekend are some long-scheduled appointments that I can't walk away from. I'll be watching from the other side of the screen, though!! :)

The west coast lem will be my first... I'm ridiculously excited, and at the same time nervous to haul a bunch of fragile gear 7 hours down the road :D

Well... I don't remember if I had 3G on my phone there... but I can tether any pc to my phone via WiFi... adding to the bandwidth... :)

Guess we're all set on dinner at Outback then. It's on the left side of hwy 441, about a half mile or so after you cross the dead river bridge. (Assuming that you're heading west out of Tavares and into Leesburg, that is.)

If you guys do some streaming, I'll try to sign in saturday night, though I'll have two options, sitting at the hotel watching a bunch of geeks over an internet stream, or doubling up my savings in one of Atlantic City's fine casino's!>:)
