Yes, this is a 8W Taipan according the serial number, I had a nice long conversation on the phone with an engineer from Coherent. It has a different model number because it was integrated into another product, Taipan was the entertainment version.
Do you have a pinout for the connector on your laser?
No pinout schematics came with mine, but the power supply is Enermax brand, you might be able to call and try them....

If you really must know, this. Didn't cost me anything, except a little gas money. There are things called trades which you can do person to person so you can make sure the person isn't an ass like you are being.

You are right, I made some mistakes in the past with shipping and sales, however, I have tried really hard to make sure that everything I sell gets shipped within a day and always includes tracking. I also keep a full paper record of all shipments I make.

That was meant to be a private message and also, look at the time in it, it was several hours before I sent you the last $51. You can remove it if you would like, it is very east to do, just click the check box and select remove.
However, I don't believe my message was unjust, you have asked about buying things from me several times while I have owed you money, and many of the posts you made were complete crap you made up to hurt the chances of a sale when it would have meant money for you, take for example the posts on LPF when I was trying to sell my blue laser. You made up the story that the diode was being way over driven when you really had no idea what was going on.

Now that we are done with that, I am happy to report that I did get a pinout for the laser and I will be testing it soon when everything is heated to the right temperature. The interesting thing with these OPS systems is that they are tunable, this laser can have a +-5nm range while maintaining efficiency.
I just need to get one capacitor replaced on the power supply. It fell off during transport because it was subjected to side forces.

It works perfectly, I just needed the pinout so I could figure out which is the doubler heater and thermistor as well as the birefringent filter heater and thermistor. Now that is all done so it is just a deal of getting it all hooked up which I should be able to do this weekend.Quote:

Hehe, I can do that later, I have it running at ~500mW with no heating on the LBO or Birefringent filter so it is way off optimal. Hopefully I can get it running correctly sometime soon.
I am hoping this will be like the Millinnia where it emits less then 1mW until you get the crystal to like 160 degrees and then shoots up to over 2W.
