    Laser Warning Bump.

    Gidday,

Right.. Mrs had a boy, Daniel is 7Pounds 4 Oz's and a lovely lil thing!

So we had to sell my Mitsi Lancer to get a Estate to fit kids, dog in.. but actually all along I'm thinking "Estate to fit all my laser gear into plus the Tranny for the Gas Beast." Hurrah - picking it up on Thursday!

So chaps - whats happening with this LEM, I really need a photon fix after watching my mrs push out a baby, not to mention her biting my arm during labour!

    Hi Nigel

CONGRATULATIONS , on the new baba , next 10 years will fly in hhhaha

As regards Scotlem , was distracted for a while , and venue issues came up , the venue i was considering best has been taken over by council and having trouble getting definate answer from them ...they also want REAL money now which would mean a fee for entry to scotlem ..grrrrr .... I will get back onto it this week hopefully

PENCIL IN FIRST WEEKEND IN JULY for ScotLEM

I was considering venue in glasgow, but i reckon central belt is too far north to encourage some visitors with lasers from southern UK

Id rather go for a weekender if looks like enough people attending but even if not something will happen first weekend in July

Never know how it turns out at work (i have had already quit a lot of holidays, but i might be in it too.... only is even further i reckon then surfleet.... But i like those LEM's a lot and if i will not be attending the ilda cruise maybe, i might have some spare money...
/me fires up google maps to see how far Glasgow is....

    EDIT:
Ok it's 1189KM or 738 miles to Glasgow.
Maybe i have to ask our friend dear mr. Stanwax if i could stayover at his place for 1 night (that is "only" 877km or 545miles from my house)
and then from there on continue to glasgow. Mmmm... or take the plane as francesco suggests, that's only around 60 euros to glasgow, but then i can't bring as much stuff... so maybe i have to bring a big suitcase and not so much clothes (who is the one that reeeeeeeeeks ?)

Well... we'll see, like the idea, depends of the time whether i can attend or not.
Maybe i can pick you up Smog ? Saves you gas and your wife has the car for her and the kids ?

It all works for me.. if an entry fee is likely.. how much do you think we are talking ?? I suppose this depends on how many attend..

If the venue falls through, let me know and I'll have a poke around where I live... Fife is not too far.. (not as bad as the highlands) and we have a few community centres in Burntisland that would fit the bill.. plus a bit of local networking for me is always good.

Happy to help in anyway possible as I think it's unlikely I'll be able to attend a UKLem for a coupla years.. still that gives me the opportunity to build up a arsenal of kit!

    Cheers,

    Nige.

Watch the ashcloud mate! - Scottish Airports seem to be fairly affected by it (supposing it's because we are in tup' north!

Driving (although a bigger mission) is probably quicker.. safer (by safer I mean you can still get home even if the ash decends) (allthough some Scot's drivers are a bit... er.. aggressive!?!)

But it would be great to see you there!

    Cheers,

    Nige.
