    I think they added one extra zero in that price! <1W argon and 40mW HeNe??? $39,000? Yeah, that aint gonna happen.

    Maybe $3900. Even *that* is pushing it.

    ^I don't know.. once you take both the beam tables, the interfaces, PSUs, and bounce mirrors into account it's a very nice system. I don't know if it's almost $40,000 nice, but surely it's worth more than $3900.

    That would be fine as a new cost in the late 70s/early 80s....

    I will admit its a very unique application...

    True.. I though there was more to it than that, but you're right.. on closer inspection it's just a bunch of solenoids and directed mirrors. It looks like a nice system anyway.. but looks can be deceiving. Especially on ebay.

    I love a good beam table, but I think it would get more than 4 grand just not 40k either but hey, have you seen those crazy laserworld projectors on ebay for 150k, lol

    I checked and the price for the hardware is indeed $3,900.
    The extra $35,100 is for the variance.
