so for the audience scan area they were powered down? i mean like above the heads you shoot 10W and into people the power would be lower? for example in CZ for hall parties they had 3-5W lasers but usually running on like 30% of full power (i always wore sunglasses anyway just in case)
It's a Laser Image show (I didn't do that show!). But yes, shows like this one always have a beam attenuation map setup to cut down power on the lower area where people are too close to the lasers to a reasonable percent.
Not true, the fireworks did not helped much, all the smoke you see floating trough the beams are from the MDG's
Yes...... them are those new "smokeless" firecrackers.....
you can clearly see the beams disappear, in between the pockets of smoke......
no smoke =no laser visibility
the mdg's are hazers that produce very fine haze, not clouds of smoke, like the ones in your video (especially a hazer for outdoors??) RIGHT.
here we go again........
RGB laser projectors
Pangolin Beyond .NET
APC40 Midi controllers
Pangolin FB3 controllers
DZ splitter
LS MegaWatt Green Machine
Have you ever used a MDG yourself?
Looking at you reaction I say NO
a MDG can produce MASSIVE clouds of smoke.
I chalange you to turn a MDG on at full in your bedroom
Familiar in the way I have heart before about MDG, or familait in the way I have a couple of MDG's and and I use them very often?
Here is a picture of a cloud of smoke from a MDG blown trough the venue with a 1KW fan.
So carlos tip for a outdoor show, take a cheap 1000W smoke machine and use minimun 40W of laser powe, pulsed is preffered.
My tip, use good smoke machines and good powerfull fans to direct the smoke and 5 to 10W is plenty power.
But hey why listen to us dutch guys we (hugo) only do about 20 big outdoor festivals a year.
Please remember that Marc Gringas makes a lot of different machines....
One man's machine may be a atmospheres, the other a more heavy duty hazer...
