Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.

Yep, he was a living legend and now an actual one.

The man's enthusiasm for everything engineering related was infectious.

He actually dug a mine shaft in his back yard, complete with steam powered elevator just for the hell of it!

A brilliant guy and respected bt all.

They wouldnt let you wear a cloth hat and smoke a ciggie whilst up a chimney today though.

I was impressed when he went to Buckingham Palace in a steam traction engine to collect his MBE.

Fred Dibnah was (and still is!) a great inspiration to me, he's the reason that i'm GOING to build a big waterwheel on my land when i eventually get a house, in many years to come. it might involve moving to norway or somewhere to do so... but it's my life 'dream' so its happening!
