The holes for the 25 d-sub are bigger and if you look at the backpanel in the picture of the first tread that i posted there are 4 holes that hold the board. The ilda cable goes true the backpanel. I will post a picture if needed this week.![]()

Yeah please do, since this way i still think you cannot screw the ilda cable tight since the screws are on the outer side the connector is on the inside. Normally the screws on a D-Sub 25 are level with the top of the connector, this way i think they won't. The holes aren't that big that the hexagonal screws go through the case. But if you can post a picture, it will be must clearer. For safety i think it's important that you can screw the ILDA cable tight.
I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.
Todat i worked on the following items: Finished the connections board to connect everything, finished the safetyboard. I will have pics tommorow fitted in my projector. I will call also the cutting company to make everything final for cutting the cases. I will send this weekend everyone a pm with payment details. I was unemployed for almost two months so i could arange this groupbuy. From tommorow i have a job again so i dont have the time to update this tread. I will try to stay in touch with you guys as much as possible between payment and shipment of these cases. Next week when i collected everyone,s money i will call the company that cuts the struths first and the same day i will call the company who lasercuts the cases to give them the green light for cutting. So in a few weeks from now i can show the first pics of the anodisized case. I will do one first because i want to see the result.
Thanks guys for joining this groupbuy
I promised to post some pictures of the connections board. It has a 16 pin boxheader for the signal input and connect everything with eachother. It has the following connections: scanneramps, rgb colouroutputs
scanfail connection (colour signals and galvo feedback.) 24+- powersupply for scanneramps. And interlock output. You can also use this with the board from SRS if you want. It uses the common 14 standard signals: +x -x y+ y- r+ r- g+ g- b+ b- interlock a en b shutter+ - It doesn,t have intensity output because i never use it. In the second picture you see the flatcable coming in and then the board supplies all the connections for the different components in your projector. The cables on the right corner in the second picture are the scanneramps connections and the connections on the left are the colouroutputs. I also have designed a board with Pots that you can connect to the colour output from this board to have manual colour control.
If anyone wants it shoot a pm.
Also a picture of the final component layout. I didn,t have time to install the safety board yet . I will do that tonight

So if you want to build a proffesional case this is your chance. Thursday i will close this groupbuy and start with sending everyone a pm with payment details.
Details of the case in the first post. This is the case:
these cases look amazing but i just cant afford it right now. will this chance come up again to get one of these cases?
cheers ollie
2 x 10w full colour laser systems
2 x 4w full colour laser systems
2 x 3w full colour laser systems
1 450mw pinkem rgb 30k scanner
2 x 1 watt green laser
4 x 1 watt blue 445nm laser systems
3 watt rgb .
hrmm, im going to have to measure my lasers tomorrow to see if it would even fit in there, nice case, im definitely in need!
Thanks ollie. The cases are sold true MCcarrots website in the future but more expencive because the cutter made me a one time deal :-)

LaserWave 473 @ 250mw (aka "400mW" in LaserBen mW), LaserWave 532 @ 300mW, LaserWave 640 @ 500mW (900mW coming soon... hopefully) ScanPro 40kpps
If these are the lasers that you want to fit in they will fit. Hobbybob has bought my first projector and the green is a laserwave 500mw Laserwave uses the same housings for the blue 250mw and the greens from 300mw till 800mw. The reds are smaller so everything fits.
Last day Folks to invest in a good quallity case.
Need also the loopboard from SRS? Shoot him a PM. I will arrange payment for this board to make it easier for everyone. You can transfer the whole amount for the case including the board if needed and i will post everything to you. Easy.
Documentation of the board :
Got some questions about the pass thru boards so I will post some more information about them in this thread.
The boards are €7,50 each but come without components. Its up to the builder to get the components so he (or she) can make the decision to use quality connectors or to solder wires directly on the board instead of using pin headers.
If you need one PCB then let me (or Edison) know, you can pay Edison and I will give him some boards so it can be shipped with the case.
Below are some pictures of the boards without components and when its all soldered and mounted. The case I have is one of the prototypes so ignore the rough edges.
Well done SrS.
I would like some, but will decide on how much i need this weekend.
I think i want 2, but it might be 3.
