Might i sugest to also implement some 5v1 zener diodes with resistors for current limiting for the analogue mod lines?
That would save some lasers to be destroyed...
Also the option to jumper all the lines sepparatly from differential to single-ended would be nice.
Hmm yes good addition satje, I will add it in V2. I do have 5,1V transorbs protecting the interlock inputs (the longest wire)
There was also some confusions about the boards,
2 different boards will be made, the differential interlock board with all the low power connections, and there will be a switched AC break outboard to connect all the mains powers.
It will have one unswitched AC output for the 5V PSU and 3 switched AC outputs for the additional powersupply switched with a 8A SS. If you dont want swichted outputs you can always choose to bridge the SS
To make sure that no one is getting nervous and to show that i,m busy to get things together. Here are some pictures from the panels before anodisizing. Also a picture from the projector almost finished. My backpanel is slightly different but its just to give you guys an idea what you get. Brackets are coming tommorow I,m working on a deal to make the dichromounts for this cases if needed. Hopefully i can help you guys with that too if needed. It depends on Lorenzo if he buys another two cases. Then i have one left to use for myself
The reason that it takes so long because this is the first time that i,m doing this. The next time the whole process will take about 4 weeks including anodisizing. It,s a learning process like building a projector but in the end its al worth it. Also this gives Mccarrot the bennefit of finishing his boards. If you get your case you save a lot of time to build it when using his board. I can,t wait to see your first design of the scanfail
