Videocard power connectors ?

Hello,

I am looking for the 4-pin version of the 6-pin connectors that are used on high end graphics cards, (PCI-Express) connectors. I have found a source (Conrad in the Netherlands) but they don't supply enough information on what pins are needed inside the connectors. I believe those connectors are called OPN.

I am looking for the connector as well as the mating connector type for built in in projector case.

For the people familiar with Hugo's projectors, it's the same as on the Laserimage projectors to supply power to the box.

I have a box of all sorts of graphics power connectors. Not sure if it's 100% what you want but I will root them out and have a look for you.

If you want to know where to find the connectors that are used in the projectors from Laserimage send me a PM.
I don't think these are the same as used on graphics cards.. Or maybe I have the wrong connector in my head..
Just to warn you they are expensive...

Well they do look the same, and if not.... well then i have something that looks the same, does the same, but is cheaper. I don't have lots of shows every week, but sure as hell look into making a nice power distribution box where i can hook up my (soon to be) 2x 1W Green and my 1.2W RGB.
The connectors i saw were called OPN and looked like the 4 pins i saw on the Laserimage projectors.
They could handle 9A @ 250V so enough for me ;-)

Only thing is the site mentioned to use pins 94UV-1 and there was no mention of those pins under that name So that's why i asked here.

Maybe i'll phone them up and ask... but most of the time they don't know ;-(

OK, had a look.
I've got:
- 4 pin M square to tails
- 6 pin M/F dual splitters
- 4 pin molex to 6 pin PCI-E
- 8 pin M - 8 pin F

Any good?

The 4 pin M Square to tails sound good (only i don't understand what you mean by "to tails" ?)
Or maybe i should go with six pins, so i can do phase, neutral and ground on 1 row, and have 3 pins just for stability (or safety switch ?)
I want to make cables that can only be plugged in one way and then connect to a central box, from where everything is distributed (and that has room for a switch in case i ever get around enough money to buy 2 QM.net's...) So i can do power/ethernet combined in a multicable.

Well i am busy during the weekend, will think about it and let you know on monday ok ?

Tails = means I lopped them off something Probably got about 30cm of wire attached.
All other have connectors on both ends.

If it would help I could post a photo.
