But it would take a video stream from a web cam or USB device with a NTSC in would it not?

Or my camcorder in webcam mode?

How does it find a webcam?

    Thumbs up

Very very cool. I've done some testing with edge detection, nice work getting it done in real-time.

Drlava, this looks very impressive indeed!

Will definitely be buying this once my bank account recovers.

Andy_con, people have asked Pangolin to create a API for the FB3 numerous times now, but they seem to have a lot of other stuff ontop of the list. I'm sure they'll get around to it, hopefully

    FYI:

LD2000 users already have access to technology that does this:

As time permits, we'll make this work with the FB3 as well, probably building it into QuickShow...

If you use a video capture card with a DVD player, video mixer, or another machine with VJ software, that allows you some more flexibility.

I'll give this one a shot, it might be a great addition to anime-themed shows.

Hi Bill, correct me if I'm wrong but after looking into it there appear to be some important differences between VST and LaserCam - the videos I posted highlight them well. SoftColor instensity shading based on image information, Color Ripple interactive colorization are two unique innovations of LaserCam that can improve the experience dramatically. Not to mention a few under the hood that improve tracing quality.

Steve, thanks for posting that, I did test it and its artificial webcam is recognized and used by LaserCam. Andy_Con, I'll send an email to the maker of your other DACs requesting the means to incorporate them, but it may take a while.
