I am looking to make 150VDC at 100 Amps. I have found a power supply that will produce the power I need, but its requires an input voltage of 480 VAC volts.

I would also be happy with a 10KVA step up transformer for a large frame if anyone is holding on to one of those.

I'm working in the Solar Industry at a company called midnitesolar.com. We make charge controllers for the Solar energy world and we need to create a test bench for our new products.

My goal is to one day run a laser show at night using the power harvested from the sun during the day. I'm thinking burningman would be a good place for this.

Why not get two identical boat anchor transformers locally and combined the primary windings into one core?

I think if your running Big ion lasers off stored power , its going to be too expensive in batteries and solar panels . Your best bet is to go for dpss lasers. You can always run those off a 120 volt inverter off a car battery !!! Thats my 2 cense .

We've got a 'spare' (works but have one for the rare occasions we need one / don't really need 2...) we'd be happy to sell - looks like you are 'up the Coast, a bit' from us in 'the W-A'? ...Wanna road-trip down and pick this puppy up? PM me if interested... price will be 'right', I promise...
