    Hey itaudi1,

My wife and I will be there on Saturday but, over the years, this hamfest has really degraded.
It's more a junk/old computer fest these days and the green hotdogs are nasty.
Are you a ham? I now hold an extra class license and my wife is a technician.

    Best Regards,
    Mark

Yeah we will be there we are a vendor in the cow palace, last room to the end. I am very disappointed from the sheer fallout in turnout over the years. The wife went last year and had a good time but its hard to explain how crazy it use to be. Hey congrats on the new arrival no-esc. Yeah held a tech license for a few years now, more just for show than active into the world. Don't have an 80ft 2 meter rig in the back yard but always wanted one.

always do have some laser related stuff, we also sell govt surplus electronics, lcd and dlp projectors, newer laptops, pro audio gear, and mostly junk that I bought a previous hamfests. We have a ton of NIB handhelds and some other new car rigs. Always have an assortment of stuff I just can live without.

After spending time and money to trek down to this once great event I have now had my fill of this Hamboree . Worst Hamfest on the east coast, As I have gone to Timonium for years, 10+ years, I can assess that it has gone from a metropolis of electronics to a dithering and dying weekend. Everything about the fest was a dismal disappointment, from the incompetent organizers who are down right nasty to vendors, to the I can get this on ebay cheaper crowd. Not to mention that now its 3 years running for having new handhelds stolen. I guess there is a trend of decline in the electronic hobbyist market. I can not see the 2010 Greater Baltimore Hamboree & Computerfest Maryland State Fairgrounds, making any more appearances in 2011 or further.

Yes, I believe this year or next will be the last time I go to this festival of junk as well.
It used to be a really good event but, now suffers the downward spiral of old technology from
a bygone era. I did pick-up a cool aom with telescope optics mount and driver for cheap.
