It will not be complete water tight (Ilda connector and neutrik) but I should survive some light rain also.
For the ilda ports, you might want to consider one of these and these.

Neutrik also got a cover for the usb port to keep out dust and moisture.

    and another one.

    Like this cover

I just glued the aperture windows, Drilling and tapping will be done this weekend, so if everything goes well it should emit photons next week

I saw this projector in real life yesterday and all i can say is .... WOW !
Very nice build, the photos don't do justice to its beauty. It's milled and very nice black anodized.
very cool was the cover on the neutrik connector.

    Very compact nice design.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Its used the give the zone status of the scanfail.

With this scanfail you can make a safe area and a unsafe area above the audience for scanning mirrorbals and static beams.

The displays show a graphical layout of your safety zone and other scanfail parameters.

After an annoying soldering session its time for an update.

This is the first prototype of the control board and I’m sure some problems will arise but for now there are only a few minor things that will make soldering easier. Because space is limited inside the brick, the board was designed to be mounted on top of a LaserWave or Viasho driver. It contains some useful functions that are needed in a projector:

    - Simple breakout (Brick is single colour)
    - Green line is buffered and provides some protection agains voltages below gnd & above vcc
    - Interlock/safety circuit
    - Start-up delay
    - Basic scan fail
    - Temperature/fan control
    - USB interface for configuration

Next thing will be writing the software for the AVR mcu so I know what to do for the next couple of days
