Laserworld lasr fees?
Hi I just got a 500mw Green laser from laserworld and Preayed for it but when delivered they charged brokrage fees. EXTRA $47.50. WOW I live in the usa and no other site sales has had this happen to me? It was contracted at so much fee through EBAY. They are confused to this overcharge also. any comments? Thanks John

Gotta watch out doing business with Laserworld.. they'll get you coming and going if there's any way they can. Although it could be a charge for paypal or ebay, in which case I'd discuss it with them.

Kind of reminds me of my one and only dealing with them.

Sounds like you got 'bitten' by US Customs-Brokerage fees from the shipper (UPS??)... something LW SHOULD-have informed you about, so you'd either a) be prepared to accept it,Originally Posted by santanas
or b) at least be-aware of it, so you could negotiate it with LW to-pay duties / fees, prior to shipping...
I'd say you just go back to LW and ask them to give you a refund of this 'unexpected / un-advised charge', buuut seeing what others, the world-over, go-thru with LW, I'd say you probably have a better chance at asking-for, and getting, World Peace....But you can sure try...
...Yet another one of the 'risks' of imports...

I will pay *both* ways if you send me this "500mW" projector to test!! I will bet you that you did not receive anything remotely close to 500mW.
Did you research Laserworld prior to purchasing this unit??
